Signalling and Neuroscience

Kathryn Medler

ABOUT THE RESEARCH

The Signal Transduction in Sensory Perception and Development research emphasis group explores signal transduction events during sensory perception, cell growth and differentiation, and disease. Specific areas of interest lie within hearing, taste, smell, vertebrate and microbe developmental processes and neurodegenerative disease. A wide array of techniques spanning the fields of electrophysiology, cell and developmental biology, microscopy and imaging, and molecular genetics are being utilized by this group of researchers.
