Featured Talk: "Mindfulness-Based Tinnitus Stress
Reduction in a Group Setting"
To be presented by: Nina Kashanian, Meghan Kennedy and Amanda Seeley
Nina, Meghan, and Amanda are graduate students in the Communicative Disorders and Sciences’ AuD program. They were introduced to mindfulness-based practices and Dr. Gans’ online program through University at Buffalo Au.D. student, Mia Canale, and have since incorporated mindfulness into their everyday lives. They are currently helping to run the UB MBTSR research study, which incorporates an 8-week mindfulness course for those suffering from bothersome tinnitus in an in-person group setting.
A discussion period will follow the presentation.
At this time there are no tinnitus research studies being conducted.
