Walker Family Experiential Learning Fund

John P. Walker, a University at Buffalo alumnus, has created an endowed fund to be used to support College of Arts and Sciences students in the pursuit of experiential learning opportunities (such as unpaid internships and service learning) that will transform the student's education by integrating academic knowledge with real-world experiences, and thus providing competitive career advantage and additional value to their UB degree.

Eligibility

  • Applicants must be undergraduate students pursuing a major in the College of Arts and Sciences.
  • Applicants must be pursuing an experiential learning opportunity for the upcoming winter intersession or spring semester.

Application Procedure

Applications for assistance are submitted to the College of Arts and Sciences Dean’s Office. All information will be kept confidential. Before beginning the application form below, please gather the following document(s):

  1. 250-word typed narrative describing the chosen experiential learning opportunity and how it would enhance your academic goals.
