Next Steps for New Undergraduate Students

  1. Submit your tuition and housing deposit. 
    Before signing up for orientation or registering for classes, all incoming students must complete enrollment by submitting their housing and tuition deposits.
  2. Complete the New Undergraduate Checklist.
    There are several additional steps new undergraduate students must take before they begin taking classes at UB. We've prepared easy-to-follow guidelines to ensure that your entry into the UB community is smooth, efficient and comfortable. 

Next Steps for New Graduate Students

  1. Review your official acceptance letter from your department.
    This letter will include important information about your adviser, department and potential financial awards. 
  2. Confirm your acceptance. 
    To confirm your acceptance, log into the Gradmit system with the username and PIN number you were given at the time of application. Once you log in, you will be prompted to create a new secure password. If you have forgotten or misplaced your GrAdMIT User Name or PIN, our email recovery system can retrieve this information for you.
  3. Complete the New Graduate Checklist.
    There are several additional steps new graduate students must take before they begin taking classes at UB. We've prepared easy-to-follow guidelines to ensure that your entry into the UB community is smooth, efficient and comfortable.
