Guidance for instructors of in-person classes: If a student contacts an instructor about a positive test or exposure concern:
- The instructor should refer the student to the UB phone line 645-1400. The phone line staff provides students with information regarding health, housing and academic resources. As necessary, students will be referred to UB Health Services or their primary care provider for medical care.
- Instructors can call the phone line and staff will note the name and any information reported about the student. Student names are given to UB Health Services for follow up.
