Daily Health Check

To help prevent the spread of COVID-19 on campus, the university has a virtual screening tool for all students, employees and visitors to campus. 

COVID-19 Information

  • UB Planning and Response website
  • The SUNY Chancellor issued a new policy aimed at fostering uniform SUNY-wide sanctions for COVID-19 health and safety violations and non-compliance issues. While this is a newly announced SUNY initiative, the policy presented is consistent with UB's current student Code of Conduct and student compliance policies.

  • Guidance for instructors of in-person classes: If a student contacts an instructor about a positive test or exposure concern:
    • The instructor should refer the student to the UB phone line 645-1400. The phone line staff provides students with information regarding health, housing and academic resources. As necessary, students will be referred to UB Health Services or their primary care provider for medical care.
    • Instructors can call the phone line and staff will note the name and any information reported about the student. Student names are given to UB Health Services for follow up.​

  • Blue Table: students experiencing food insecurity can get support.
  • Student Life Emergency Funds: Funds are available for students through the student life website. 
  • Health and Wellness: a variety of services are available to help students with their physical and mental health needs. Please refer students to counseling and health services.
