Bachelor of Sciences Program

We've designed a BS degree program that emphasizes the scientific foundation of geology along with a strong basic science background. This program is designed for students who will enter directly into geology-related employment upon graduation (energy resources, environmental consulting, State or National Geological Surveys, etc.), or will continue on to graduate school.

Acceptance Criteria: Applications should be made after completion of the first introductory course: GLY 101 Natural Hazards or GLY 102 Climate Change. A grade of C or better in that course and an overall average of at least 2.0 is required.
