The Buffalo International Film Festival 2018 is just around the corner – Thursday, October 4 – 8. Just another cultural offering this city has to offer, right? But did you know that the festival ABOUNDS WITH THE WORK OF UB MEDIA STUDY STUDENTS AND ALUMS??

This year’s fest features the work of current students including Annette Daniels Taylor (Service Industry and My Neighborhood), Mani Merhvarz (Asher), Isabella Nurt (Ode for Dead Things), Lee Terwilliger (Animoia), and Yuxin Zhao (YanYan); and recent alums including Sam Avery (Dead Eye), Katie Kostelny (Dirty Dishes), Sara Mann (Siren), Dan Mecca (Regular), Ryan Monolopolus (Friends to the End), Jesse Rodkin (Pressure), Akram Shibley (Nomadic), and J. Garrett Vorreuter (Rainbow Bridge Motel).

Congratulations to all those whose works were selected for the festival!!
