The first of two collaborations at June in Buffalo will feature two composers from the Norwegian Academy of Music, Eivind Buene (pictured) and Henrik Hellstensius.

Juliet Fraser, principal soprano of the widely acclaimed EXAUDI vocal ensemble, visits UB May 4-5 to perform “Three Voices,” a work by the late UB composer Morton Feldman.

Under the baton of guest conductor and rising star Robert Trevino, the Slee Sinfonietta will present a program of rarely performed arrangements by composer Arnold Schoenberg of works by Mahler and Debussy in a concert on April 11.

With the help of UB music students and Buffalo String Works, refugee and immigrant children on Buffalo's West Side have the opportunity to learn to play an instrument.
