Paroski Elected President of UB Alumni Association

BUFFALO, N.Y. -- Margaret W. Paroski of Buffalo, a 1980 graduate of the University at Buffalo School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, has been elected to serve a one-year term as president of the UB Alumni Association.

Paroski is senior associate dean for academic affairs in the UB medical school.

Other officers elected for the 2002-03 year are: Jennifer B. Wozniak of Buffalo, MBA '96, B.A. '92, assistant vice president for risk management for M& T Bank, president-elect; Charles C. Swanekamp of East Amherst, J.D. '79, MBA '80, partner with Jaeckle, Fleischmann & Mugel, second vice president, and Thomas A. Palmer of East Amherst, J.D. '75, MBA '71, managing partner with Jaeckle, Fleischmann & Mugel, vice president of finance.

New executive committee members are Marc A. Adler of Williamsville, MBA, '82, M.A. '83, B.A. '79, director of client services for Flynn & Friends Advertising; Paul A. Quebral of Williamsville, MBA '92, B.A. '86, vice president and chief operating officer for Reid Petroleum Corp.; and Sylvia R. Williams-Ferguson of Buffalo, B.A. '98, surgical technologist for Kaleida Health's Buffalo General Hospital.

Newly elected members of the board of directors are Deborah B. Bucki of East Amherst, Ph.D. '98, M.S. '78, community volunteer; Frank H. Clement of Seattle, Wash., B.S. '66, vice president of investments for Paine Webber Group, Inc.; Colleen B. Jansen of Brooklyn, Ed.M. '89, Ph.D. '96, director of major gifts for Polytechnic University; Frederick J. Kogut of Melville, Ed.M. '65, B.A. '60, associate dean of students for City College of New York; James A. McLeod of Buffalo, J.D. '74, judge, Buffalo City Court; Brandon M. Miller of Lancaster, B.S. '94, financial specialist for North American Health Plans, Inc.; Dawn E. Sanders of Buffalo, MBA '01, B.A. '92, community builder for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development; Robert H.
