Not Yet a University at Buffalo Student?

Apply to UB:

Incoming freshman or undergraduate transfer applicants who are interested in pursuing either a BA in PsychologyBS in PsychologyMinor in Psychology or Minor in Addiction Studies must first apply and be accepted to the University at Buffalo.

Students who have identified Psychology (or the minor in Addiction Studies) as their area of study will be listed as majors/minors at the time of acceptance.

All relevant information, including admissions criteria; the online application; dates and deadlines; and standardized test score requirements, can be found by visiting UB Undergraduate Admissions.

Currently a UB Student But Not a Psychology Major/Minor?

Request to Change to the Major/Minor:

Current UB students who are interested in pursuing a BA in PsychologyBS in PsychologyMinor in Psychology or Minor in Addiction Studies should fill out the CAS Major/Minor Change Request form.

Submit the CAS Major/Minor Change Request form to request one of the following changes to your academic plan:

  • Add a major, minor, or certificate in the College of Arts and Sciences
  • Drop any major
  • Drop any minor
