Netta Yerushalmy

Based in New York City Yerushalmy aims to engage with audiences by imparting the sensation of things as they are perceived, not as they are known, and to challenge how meaning is attributed and constructed. Her choreographic work has been awarded a Guggenheim Fellowship, Princeton Arts Fellowship, and a Research Fellowship at the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts, and commissioned and presented by venues such as Danspace Project, Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival, Joyce Theater, American Dance Festival, and UB Center for the Arts. Other guest dance artists in residence in 2018 included: Baira Dance, Channon Judson (Urban Bush Women), and Candace Feck.
