The emphasis on critical, interdisciplinary research attracted me to the department. I’ve felt respected and motivated by everyone in the Transnational Studies department. The professors I’ve worked with provide an intellectually stimulating, and supportive classroom environment. The opportunity to learn from them has been the highlight of my experience at UB. - Kristen Doty
