The Department of Chemistry at the University at Buffalo invites applications for multiple faculty positions in chemistry related to human health. These positions are part of a multi-faculty recruitment effort supported by the Office of the Provost under the Disciplinary Excellence initiative.
The Department of Chemistry at the University at Buffalo is entering a period of unprecedented growth supercharged by the Disciplinary Excellence initiative. The current search is phase one of a multi-faculty hiring effort aimed at enhancing the existing strengths in chemical biology and medicinal chemistry. The successful candidate will teach and train students in these programs and will complement existing strengths involving the design and discovery of drugs, synthetic chemistry, disease diagnostics and therapeutics, biomimetic chemistry, biosensing, molecular recognition and bioanalysis.
Candidates with research interests in chemical biology, medicinal chemistry, chemical synthesis, and bioanalysis are particularly encouraged to apply.
