Nayanika Kalita
PhD student in Dr. Cook's lab.
My research focuses on exploring porphyrins and tellurium chromophores as catalysts for small molecule activation.
UB Chemistry’s strong support system and excellent research infrastructure have made my time as a graduate student very fulfilling. Discovering how things work at a fundamental level is fascinating and one of the main reasons I enjoy research.
I like reading novels, grocery shopping and cooking!
