Dr. Patricia Musacchio to Join Department of Chemistry

Assistant Professor Patricia “Patti” Musacchio will be joining the Department of Chemistry at The University at Buffalo in Fall 2024.

Dr. Musacchio began her independent career at Worcester Polytechnic Institute in 2019 and has established a laboratory focused on the intersection of synthetic chemistry and chemical biology. Her research lab is thematically connected through studies of radical-mediated processes, enabling efficient small molecule construction, biomolecule modification, and reaction development.

Dr. Musacchio will be a valuable addition to our department and will continue our tradition of excellence in synthetic organic chemistry.
