Official UB Covid-19 Information

Academics

  • Faculty, staff and campus leadership are actively inventorying and assessing UB’s classroom and potential classroom space pursuant to physical distancing guidelines and, at the school level, determining which classes will be taught in-person, partially in-person, or fully remote. The new class schedule will be posted online on July 15.

International Students

  • On July 6, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) announced changes to the Student and Exchange Visitor Program. 
    • While we await final guidance on the impact of this policy, current information for international students is available online
    • Please continue to check the ISS COVID-19 Response and Resources page regularly for updates.

Information for Faculty and Staff

  • Health verification form: UB employees are required to attest daily that they are free of COVID-19 symptoms before reporting to work on-campus. These requirements apply to all faculty, staff and student employees who work on-campus at UB. If you are working remotely at home or a non-UB location, you do not need to complete an attestation.

    These web pages will continue to evolve and will be updated with new trainings, resources and highlights.
  • Online workshop for Exams, Assessment and Proctoring in UB Learns
    • For CAS Faculty and TAs/GAs only
      Aug. 4,10 -11:30 a.m.
    • Get answers to all of your questions about online exams during this workshop designed specifically for CAS faculty and teachers assistants.
    • Space is extremely limited to provide individual attention. Pre-registration required. 
  • Preparing you for Fall: Upcoming trainings and workshops
    • No preregistration required. Sign in at the appropriate date and time.
  • All CAS faculty may contact Jay Stockslader, director of online learning, for assistance with CAS specific online course building and university supported tools such as UB Learns, Zoom, Webex and Panopto.
