Need to Know: COVID-19 Issue 16. Notices and Updates for CAS.

Official UB Covid-19 Information

  • UB’s campus planning process prioritized offering learning that must happen in-person. Therefore the Office of the Vice Provost for Educational Affairs has indicated that undergraduate students may participate in research and creative activities this coming fall semester under the applicable health and safety rules as provided by EHS and UB’s Research Phase 2 guidelines.
    • Prior to allowing undergraduates to work in their lab or creative spaces, faculty must submit and receive approval of an updated Laboratory Operating Plan. Guidance about how to prepare these updated plans and the process for submitting them will be sent under separate cover to department cairs for distribution to faculty.
