Why did you choose UB?

"I was intent on applying for PhD programs within women’s and gender studies, but with an international focus to support my own global interests and experience.  The Global Gender Studies Program at UB, is the only one of its kind in the U.S.  The establishment of this type of program is unique and cutting edge in that it recognizes the critical role of gender in understanding globalization and international politics, especially as they impact issues such as sexual violence, violent extremism, war and conflict."
