What drew me to become a history major at UB was my love for history. I have learning about history for many years and I get excited whenever I learn something about history. History can teach one about the past and how to make a bright future.
I have loved every single history class I have taken. If I were to choose to pick a favorite, it would be HIS 391:China and the World with Professor Stapleton.
After I graduate, I want to go to law school and become an attorney. A successful attorney needs to be able to read and analyze a lot of intensive documents in a short period of time. These skills are taught in all history courses.
My favorite history spot in Buffalo is the Theodore Roosevelt Inaugural National Historical Site because Theodore Roosevelt is my favorite progressive era president.
If I could have dinner with any historical person, it would probably be with Ranjit Singh of the Sikh Empire.
