Prof. Pat McDevitt Named new Director of UB Honors College

UB History Professor Pat McDevitt has been named the next Director of the UB Honors College. Please see the official announcement below:

Dr. Patrick McDevitt has accepted the position of academic director with the University Honors College. Dr. McDevitt is a faculty member in the Department of History. He was an Honors Faculty Fellow from 2015 to 2017 and currently works with UB students who are pursuing Fulbright research, study and teaching grants as the UB Fulbright program advisor. 

Dr. McDevitt will lead the Honors College team as they work to build upon the 40-year history of the University Honors College in providing a transformative, inclusive and innovative education for our Honors Scholars and developing lifetime connections with thousands of our alumni worldwide.

Dr. McDevitt’s official first day will be Jan. 20, 2022.
