The UB Music Library has received funding from the Council on Library and Information Resources (CLIR) to preserve more than 600 musical works performed at the university from 1964-80.

On Wednesday, November 8, Ensemble Linea and Irvine Arditti will give a concert in Slee Hall. The concert will feature the world premiere of Jeu de Tarot, a new violin concerto by UB Distinguished Professor David Felder. The concert will also include works by Philippe Leroux and Brian Ferneyhough.

On Monday, November 6 at 5:00 p.m. in Baird Hall, the documentary "Composed" will be screened. This feature documentary brings together dozens of professionals from prestigious orchestras, symphonies, and music schools to discuss their personal journeys, and consider how best to achieve excellence in the face of enormous pressure.

The University at Buffalo Department of Music and The Robert and Carol Morris Center for 21st Century Music are pleased to present an evening of music honoring composer Bernard Rands on Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at 7:30pm in Lippes Concert Hall in Slee Hall on UB’s Amherst Campus.
