Bassist Sabu Adeyola, protégé to the late jazz master Charles Mingus, is one of jazz music's finest.  As a member of the most celebrated trios to have toured with legendary pianist Ahmad Jamal, Sabu (with Payton Crossley) incorporated a spiritual swing to Ahmad's signature style.

Sabu has spent his career touring, performing, and recording with  industry elites including: Abbey Lincoln, Ahmad Jamal, Charlie Byrd, Donald Byrd, George Caldwell, Payton Crossley, Dexter Gordon, Whitney Marchelle, 'Onaje' Allan Gumbs, Elvin Shepherd, Leon Thomas, Allen Tinney, “Big” Joe Turner, Mal Waldron, “Big” Walter, Grover Washington Jr., Azzeddin Weston, Randy Weston, Roy Haynes, Flip Phillips, Cassandra Wilson and Gary Burton.

He has performed in many of the world's premier jazz venues including:  Village Vanguard, Blues Alley, Joe Segal's Jazz Showcase, Jazz Alley , Finger Lakes Jazz Festival, Fat Tuesdays, Lenox Lounge, Sweet Basil's, Fairmont Hotel, Massey Hall, Keystone Korner, Fairmont Hotel and Great American Music.
