NCGIA Consortium Meeting at Maine

More than 20 researchers from the three NCGIA sites, UB, University of California at Santa Barbara, and University of Maine met at the Maine Maritime Academy, Castine, Maine during August 11-14, 2013 for the 2013 NCGIA consortium meeting. The three-day meeting reviewed past NCGIA collaboration and activities, presented the current research projects at the three sites, and identified funding opportunities. Researchers had active discussions over a series of topics regarding the future development of NCGIA, such as the infrastructure initiatives, research initiatives, education activities, international activities, industry activities, and interactions with professional organizations.
