NCGIA Research Webinar Series

NCGIA consortium held its monthly webinar during September - December, 2013. Researchers from the three NCGIA sites (UB, University of California at Santa Barbara, and University of Maine) participated in the webinar via the internet. The webinar focused on the development of grant proposals in response to RFPs issued by funding agencies. On UB campus, scientists from a range of disciplines, including Civil Engineering, Computer Science, Economics, Geography, Mathematics, and Mechanical Engineering participated in the webinar. NCGIA-Buffalo contributed to the proposal with a focus on content-based process modeling. The modeling approach is addressed from the perspective of system dynamics, statistical inference, model transition sensitivity analysis, and probability-driven model bases.
