Research Interests

  • Connection between optical-phonon exchange and d-wave in high-Tc superconductors
  • Transport and Hall coefficients above Tc in high-Tc superconductors
  • Doping dependence of Tc in La2-x,SrxCu04 and Nd2-xCexCu04.
  • Quantum Hall Effect
  • Quantum statistics of composites

I have been working in areas of statistical physics, solid and liquid state physics, superconductivity, and Quantum Hall Effect theory. I have advised students on M.S. and Ph.D. theses on various topics in the following areas: cyclotron resonance, non-equilibrium statistical mechanics, the band theory of solids, and the theory of superconductivity. I have just completed a graduate text on the theory of high Tc superconductivity for advanced students and researchers.
