New bachelor’s degree explores AI and public policy

The Department of Political Science has launched a new Bachelor of Science degree in AI and Policy Analysis as part of the newly established Department of AI and Society. The program helps students understand how artificial intelligence shapes public policy governance and everyday life.

Students will build skills in data analysis ethics and policy evaluation while studying how AI affects decision making in government health care business and communities. The degree prepares graduates to lead in fields where technology and public impact intersect.
