Antoine Yoshinaka is an associate professor in the Department of Political Science at the University at Buffalo. His areas of expertise include the study of U.S. political parties and elections, the U.S. Congress, state-level legislative and electoral politics, and the study of legislatures and elections around the world. He has published two academic books with Cambridge University Press and another academic book with the University of Toronto Press. His academic articles appear in peer-reviewed journals such as the British Journal of Political Science, Political Research Quarterly, Legislative Studies Quarterly, Party Politics, and Electoral Studies. He earned his MAand PhD from the University of Rochester and his BS from the Université de Montréal. Prior to joining the faculty at UB in 2015, Professor Yoshinaka taught at American University and the University of California, Riverside.
