Centennial Celebration

Time to celebrate our 100th Anniversary!

Psychology students in about the 1950s.
Derek Daniels and students in his lab.

When our department opened in 1919, the University of Buffalo was a private college on Main Street and the entire department was based on a single faculty member, our inaugural chair Dr. Daniel Bell Leary. One hundred years and three campuses later we have programs in Buffalo and Singapore, many talented faculty and research scientists, and thousands of students at the undergraduate and graduate levels.

Saturday, June 6 | 5 - 7 p.m.
UB Anderson Gallery
1 Martha Jackson Place
Buffalo, NY 14214

With an evening of networking, camaraderie and reminiscing about the tremendous growth of the department since 1919, alumni will have the opportunity to connect with one another and both current and emeritus faculty.

The reception, which includes beverages and hors d’oeurves in the beautiful upper level of UB's Anderson Gallery, is free to attend but registration is required.

Join us for the other Alumni Weekend activities taking place June 4-7. Full schedule and event details coming soon.

Hope to see you in June!
