Bio

Miranda Spada received her Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Dance from the University at Buffalo under the direction of Tom Ralabate. There she was a member of the prestigious Zodiaque Dance Company where she was able to work with numerous choreographers. She was honored with being named director of Dancers Workshop for two years.

After graduation, Miranda stayed in the Buffalo area where teaching opportunities opened and she found her passion. She is currently the Competition Coordinator at a studio in the area and also directs and runs her own Mentorship Program called LEAD. This program facilitates the growth of individuals who are looking to enhance their training and work towards pursuing a possible career in dance. She enjoys giving her students opportunities in and out of New York that enhance their dance journeys.

Miranda adjudicates with various organizations including AMP Dance Competition, ONE BEAT Dance Brands including Groove, Reverb, Beyond The Stars, and Breakout, American Dance Awards, 3sixtydance, and Guidance Dance Experience. She is also on roster for IMPACT Dance Adjudicators under Courtney Ortiz and runs and directs AMP’s Ambassador Program.

Miranda is certified in Progressing Ballet Technique Levels 1,2, and 3, Progressing Contemporary Technique, and Alixa Flexibility Modules 1, 2, and 3.

Miranda loves to spread her passion and love for dance guest teaching all over as well as setting choreography. Growing up in Pennsylvania and training under Larraine Susa she also enjoys visiting back home to where her roots are where she was Pennsylvania’s Outstanding Young Woman for 2008.
