We are excited to welcome Theatre and Dance audiences back to the UB Center for the Arts and Katharine Cornell Theatre.
The health and safety of our community is a priority and UB will continue to follow health and safety guidelines from New York State, as well as recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and public health experts.
Attendees are required to show proof that they are fully vaccinated to attend events in the Center for the Arts. Individuals are considered fully vaccinated as defined by the CDC, two weeks after their second dose in a two-dose series, or two weeks after a single-dose vaccine. Individuals will not be able to attend events at the Center for the Arts, even if they have a medical or religious exemption.
Starting January 17, 2022 Children 5 through 11 will be required to have at least the first dose of the vaccine to attend all events at UB, including the Center for the Arts. By February 14, 2022, children ages 5 through 11 who want to attend events must provide proof at the door they have completed their vaccination series.
A vaccination card, a photo of a vaccination card, an Excelsior Pass or a digital vaccine card are all acceptable. Attendees should be prepared to show photo ID as well.
Masks are required for all inside campus buildings, including while attending events inside the Center for the Arts.
Entry requirements and venue protocols are subject to change, and may also be event specific. Be sure to check the individual event listing on our calendar for details.
All patrons and visitors will be required to comply with the guidelines in place at the time of the event. Please check this website again closer to the event date for the latest information.
Thank you for abiding by UB health and safety guidelines.
