How do you intend to share your knowledge and talent? This lecture will provide insights into the acting industry/business, self-care tips for professionals, a toolbox to create vision, and direction for personal goals. Through the presentation along with guided reflection, Actor in Action is intended to provide you with supportive skills so that you can step into action as an artist with care and intention.

Katie Osborn .

Katie Osborn holds a Theatre Performance BFA from University at Buffalo and a Theatre Education MA from the Lincoln Center Scholars Program at Hunter College. Originally from the Southtowns of Buffalo, Katie now lives in Brooklyn, NY, where she works as an actor, director, and educator. Katie’s most recent work “Freeze Response” which she both performed in and directed, was featured in the Emerging Artists Theatre’s New Work Series at Tada Theater in NYC. On stage & in the classroom, Katie takes great joy in the opportunity to engage with devising theatre, Shakespeare, and exploring the “big questions” of life.
