Beulah Alexander Memorial Scholarship

The Beulah Alexander Memorial Scholarships supports students in the Western New York region who identify as an underrepresented population, in particular African-American students. It is intended for students who demonstrate a drive to succeed academically, as well as help others.

The selected student will receive $1,500 for the academic year, and the award may be repeated in successive years based on the recommendation of the review committee for a maximum of four years per student. In making this award possible, the donor hopes that each recipient will make a personal pledge to try to help others who desire a college or university degree at such time that they are financially able to do so, and–in this way–pass on the gift of education.
