Laura Bouza is a filmmaker and educator whose work considers the intersections of documentary, narrative and experimental film traditions. Her films have screened nationally and internationally, including the Edinburgh International Film Festival (UK), Antimatter Film Festival (Canada), World Film Festival of Bangkok (Thailand), REDCAT (Los Angeles), Anthology Film Archives (New York), and at the Smithsonian Hirshhorn Museum (Washington, D.C.). She holds a Master of Fine Arts in Film/Video from the California Institute of the Arts and a Bachelor of Arts in Media Study with highest distinction from the University at Buffalo. As an educator, Bouza has taught film to students at Moorpark and Long Beach City colleges and is currently Program Director and Assistant Professor film in the Cinema and Television Program at Fullerton College.
