Alumni Achievement

In the past decade, the UB Department of Physics has conferred more than 100 doctoral degrees in physics. One third of our graduates have pursued careers in industry or related fields, another third are currently postdoctoral fellows, while another quarter have obtained faculty or lecturer positions at major universities, including:
