CFA to Hold "Center Celebration" Aug. 25

BUFFALO, N.Y. -- The Center for the Arts at the University at Buffalo will hold its annual Center Celebration to open its 2010-11 season from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Aug. 25.

The free picnic lunch will be open to the general public (while supplies last), and feature a menu includes Sahlen's hot dogs, veggie dogs, salads and desserts.

Tickets for all Center for the Arts 2010-11 performances will go on sale at 10 am. One-day-only ticket discounts will be available, and there will be door prizes and giveaways. New this year, the first 500 patrons receive a Center for the Arts keepsake item.

The event will be held rain or shine in the Center for the Arts Atrium.
