Bio

Kaylie Horowitz (she/they) is an actor, teaching artist, prop and costume artist, and voice actor pursuing her MA from UB's Department of Theatre and Dance. Originally hailing from Florida, she holds a BFA in Performance from Auburn University, and spent a year as an acting and production apprentice at American Stage Theatre Company. She has worked as a performer for both The Florida Aquarium and Busch Gardens Tampa Bay, and has spent the last two years contributing her voice to independently developed video games, audio dramas, animations, and podcasts from her home recording studio. Over the course of 2020, she joined up remotely with other collaborators to produce Quarantined Theatre Company and served as its Director of Digital Content. Her current research interests include investigating neurodivergent and queer identities in dramatic text, and analyzing the post-post-modern gallows humor of content from various online creators.
