alma Collective

As part of THD’s Friday Forum Guest Dance Artists program, alma Collective will provide a guest master class on March 1, 2024.

alma Collective is a Latina-led New York City based collective born from 10 years of friendship between co-directors Bianca Dam and Kat Bark. This bond is evident in their work, and creates a space where movement feels instinctive. alma’s vocabulary is athletic, intricate and focuses on musicality. alma Collective has been teaching at Broadway Dance Center for the past year, as well as hosting master classes and festivals. alma has been performing as a company for over a year, and has performed throughout the east coast, creating dance for all eyes, and evolving as humans with the audience. Alma is a rediscovery of our “gut'' as dancers, leading with honest sentiment.
