From 2010 to 2011, the Jewish Buffalo Archives Project/Bureau of Jewish Education archivist Chana Kotzin and John Edens, UB archivist, worked collaboratively on a grant to digitize images in existing collections at UB Archives and from new collections in process at the JBAP. These images are now available online through “New York Heritage,” a state internet resource that showcases grant-supported collections from around New York State. Named the “Jewish Buffalo Image Collection,” this digital collection was supported by a grant from the Western New York Library Resources Council, one of New York State’s nine Reference and Research Library Resources Councils.
