About

Jieun Lee is an assistant professor in the Department of Political Science at the University at Buffalo. She studies international political economy with a focus on how firms influence international relations. Her recent work examines how foreign firms represent their interests in the US political system. She also studies the politics of trade and foreign investment including how multinational corporations promote and defend economic globalization. Her other line of work is on international trade law with a focus on US-China relations. She graduated from the University of Michigan with a joint PhD in Public Policy and Political Science.
