RLL PhD candidates receive Mark Diamond Research Fund support

RLL PhD candidates Jamison García Ramírez and Alex Bakke have each earned Mark Diamond Research Fund awards to support their dissertation projects. Jamison’s project examines the linguistic construction of LGBTQ+ personae in Puerto Rican Spanish, while Alex’s explores the role of discourse marker instruction on students’ written performance in Spanish.
