The competition was the culmination of  an 8 week-long summer program wtih local community organizations during which the fellows learn strategies to help address social issues with the guidance of UB faculty member coaches, and then put those strategies into practise as they work on site with their partner organization. During the competition, they present their projects and compete for funding for their partner.

We congratulate Marie and her team members on their prize-winning project!  Great way to spend the summer!
