Bios

Michael Busacco (Stage Manager & Roy)
Michael Busacco is a Senior Theater Performance BFA and is proud to be a part of The Odd Couple. This is his first show as Stage Manager and is also playing the part of Roy. His previous roles include Daniel Rivnine in Outrage, Phillip/Fredrick in Noises Off, and Sir Toby Belch in Twelfth Night.

Kendrick Cruz (Murray)
Making his UB debut in The Odd Couple, Kendrick Cruz is an engineering student with a whimsical side. He is grateful for these new experiences as well as the new friends he made along the way.

James Gallagher (Felix Ungar)
James Gallagher is a freshman at UB and is currently an Occupational Therapy major. This will be his second show at UB after playing Cedric in Puffs during his first semester. He hopes the audience enjoys the show!

Crissy Iglesias-Baires (Gwendolyn Pigeon)
Crissy Iglesias-Baires is a freshman Theater Performance BFA student who is excited to be performing alongside her fellow cast members is Neil Simons The Odd Couple. Crissy’s favorite credits include conservatory works created by the Stella Adler Studio of Acting. Crissy can be seen next in the UBTHD production of King Henry IV: Part 2. She hopes you all have a wonderful time

Alex Louis (Oscar Madison)*
Alex is a freshman BFA Music Theatre Major, and is ecstatic to be performing in his second SDS playing Oscar Madison in The Odd Couple! Previous credits include Oliver Rivers (Puffs), Seymour Krelborn (Little Shop of Horrors), and Conrad Birdie (Bye Bye Birdie). He would like to thank the cast and crew, his parents, and girlfriend for their continued support, and for making this production such a great experience. Enjoy the show, pussycats!

Alex Novak (Vinnie)
Alex is a senior English major. He is grateful for his UB Theatre experiences including Twelfth Night, The Intruder, Puffs, and more. He would like to thank his friends, family, and professors for their support. Alex is ready to clean house playing poker in The Odd Couple!

Sarah Schoeneman (Cecily Pigeon)
Sarah has previously been in productions of Puffs at UB as well as Curtains, Shrek the Musical, and Radium Girls with East Aurora High School. She would like to thank her friends and family, especially one whose British accent in a recent production of Mamma Mia was incredibly inspiring to her.

Andre White (Speed)
Andre White has always been interested in theatre and involved himself in all his middle and high school musicals and performances. At UB he has had the honor of being a part of Eurydice (Father Understudy), Choreo Lab (Assistant Stage Manager), Outrage (Socrates), and most recently The Odd Couple (Speed). He is grateful for all the opportunities given here at UB and is thankful to all his friends that help him throughout this process.

Julia Witt (Director & Designer)
Primarily an actor, Julia Witt is making her directorial debut with The Odd Couple. Her favorite acting credits include Brooke in Noises Off!, Alice in Vinegar Tom, and Norma in Perfect Arrangements. Julia would like to thank her professors for their continued support, and her parents for always believing in her and introducing her to the world of The Odd Couple.
