Three undergraduate students working with Dr. Shae DiNino presented posters at the SUNY Undergraduate Research Conference (SURC). Elizabeth Fish, Ilsa Kloiber, and Kennidy Dryer-DeCator were selected to present the results of their research projects at the annual SURC. This year's conference was held on Monday, April 28th at SUNY Binghamton.

Elizabeth Fish learned to use the Python coding language to analyze electroencephalography data (EEG) from a project in collaboration with Dr. Melisa Polonenko at the University of Minnesota. The title of her presentation was "Auditory brainstem responses to spatialized speech."

Ilsa Kloiber's project was funded by an award that Dr. DiNino received from the UB Career Design Center. The title of her presentation was "Auditory neural processing and cognitive predictors of speech-in-noise understanding."

Kennidy Dyer-DeCator's project was funded by Dr. DiNino's Emerging Research Grant from the Hearing Health Foundation. The title of her presentation was "Spatial attention: Understanding the use of auditory cues."

All three students have worked very hard over the past year to complete these projects. Congratulations!
