Dr. Karen Davis visiting Friday April 11th, 2025

The University at Buffalo Department of Communicative Disorders and Sciences is excited to host Dr. Karen Davis as part of our 2024-2025 Colloquium Series on Friday April 11^th, 2025.

Dr. Davis is an associate professor at Middle Tennessee State University with over 15 years of experience as a school-based speech-language pathologist. While her training is in literacy and language disorders for struggling learners, her work has increasingly centered on culturally responsive practice, education, and student success in communication sciences and disorders.

For CDS Colloquium, she will be presenting a talk titled: Minimizing Microaggressions in Cross-Cultural Mentoring. This event will be offered for 0.1 ASHA CEUs.
