Congratulations to Dr. Gail Seigel on getting her Childhood Cancer (CHECT) grant to be extended another year to 6/30/26!
The Childhood Eye Cancer Trust (CHECT, United Kingdom) has renewed funding for another year for Dr. Gail Seigel’s research team. The project is a collaboration between Dr. Seigel (PI), Dr. Dhaval Shah (UB Pharmacy School) and Dr. Natalia Vergara (University of Colorado).
The goal of the project is to optimize tumor cell death and spare surrounding normal cells during treatment with antibody-drug conjugates. An abstract of this project is scheduled as an oral presentation at the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology conference in Salt Lake City, UT on May 5th, 2025.
