Parkinson's Awareness Day 2026

The third annual Parkinson's Awareness Day event was held April 4th, 2026

Parkinson’s Awareness Day aims to increase understanding of Parkinson's disease, support individuals and families impacted by the condition, and highlight the importance of research, advocacy, and community connection.

Together, we will learned about the signs and symptoms of Parkinson’s disease, explored available resources, and inspired hope and resilience.

We are grateful to Dr. Kaila Stipancic, Dr. Mishaela DiNino, and Dr. Jessica Huber for hosting this important event.

Prof. Kaila Stipancic presents research from the Buffalo Oromotor, Speech & Swallowing Lab to attendees seated at tables at Parkinson’s Awareness Day.
