Victoria Udondian, visiting associate professor in the Department of Art, has been invited to the 61st International Art Exhibition of La Biennale di Venezia by Koyo Kouoh (May 5 - Nov. 22), the FITE Textile Biennial in France (July 1 - Jan. 10, 27) and the Medina Triennial (June 6 - Sept. 7), which is a new Triennial that will debut in Western New York this summer.

Founded in 1895, the Venice Biennale is often referred to as the “Olympics of the art world,” and is widely regarded as one of the most prestigious and influential international exhibitions, bringing together leading artists, curators, and institutions from around the globe.

This invitation marks a pivotal moment in Udondian's career, placing her work within a highly selective international context while also bringing visibility and recognition to her interdisciplinary practice and to the University at Buffalo community.
