Center for Geological and Climate Hazards co-organized with the Department of Civil, Structural, and Environmental Engineering a lecture related to a book launch.
Prof. Bruneau spoke about his new book “The Blessing of Disaster” which explores the lessons that catastrophes teach us and why our future depends on it. In addition to help organizing and promoting the event, the center provided multiple copies of the book that were given to the audience.
