Temple Beth Tzedek Lecture Series June 2020

Lecture Series Flyer.

During June 2020, Alex Green delivered a lecture series at the Temple Beth Tzedek in Williamsville, NY titled "What Makes a Good Leader? Maimonides' Lessons on Leadership."

What Makes a Good Leader?

Over the course of four virtual sessions, Alex Green asked the question of "What Makes a Good Leader?" by exploring the writings of Maimonides. Using the Zoom platform, Alex led the Temple Beth Tzedek synagogue community through the following discussions:

Wed June 3: Are idolaters good leaders?

Wed June 10: Should leaders have big egos?

Wed June 17: When should a leader get angry?

Wed June 24: Why is courage important for leaders?

During a time of isolation and limited community dialogue, the Department of Jewish Thought is very appreciative of opportunities like this to continue conversations with our local community.
